Embassy Suites Inner Harbor Hotel in downtown Baltimore reopens this Fall following multi-million dollar renovation

BALTIMORE — The Embassy Suites Inner Harbor Hotel in downtown Baltimore recently reopened, following an extensive renovation that brought together playfulness and posh under one roof.

The Embassy Suite brand’s Inner Harbor location, the only full-service suite hotel in downtown Baltimore, opened this fall with a Renovation Celebration held on October 4. The Renovation Celebration, held at the hotel’s restaurant, Stacks Bar and Grill, featured remarks by Mayor Catherine Pugh, General Manager Andrew Labetti, and Embassy Suites Global Head, Alan Roberts.

Debuting rejuvenated guest suite accommodations and updated public spaces, the multi-million dollar renovation seamlessly blends modern style with the hotel’s classic sophistication.

Three hundred guest suites underwent upgrades, and feature a contemporary design focused on maximizing guest comfort. The sleek design lends itself to some of the most stunning views of Baltimore that the city has to offer, including the original Washington Monument, the world famous Inner Harbor and the Mt. Vernon cityscape.

While the hotels’ upgraded suites would rival their counterparts at any contemporary hotel, Embassy Suites Inner Harbor is proudly rooted in all things Baltimore, and offers unique, imaginative features that may leaving you saying “Who knew?”.

Tying into Baltimore’s artistic flair that combines quirky and creative, the hotel lobby now features awe-inducing art pieces, showcasing a larger-than-life mural which features things you didn’t know about Baltimore to capture guests’ imagination and identify Baltimore heritage. The second art piece, “Under the Harbor”, is a collaboration of multiple artists and will feature a unique “underwater view of the Inner harbor” from the lobby ceiling.

Additionally, the hotel introduced a new dining destination for guests and locals alike. Stacks Bar and Grill, located on the second floor of the lobby, will feature gourmet stacked grilled cheeses and sandwiches, as well as a full complement of entrees focused on traditional Baltimore flavors (Old Bay, anyone?) with a few eclectic specialties. Stacks Bar and Grill’s menu will offer shareable appetizers, soups, salads, entrée dishes and desserts. Stacks will also feature a full-service bar and craft cocktails served by the talented mixology team. Stacks takes your grandmother’s grilled cheese to a whole new level (with all due respect, Grandma).

Keeping the spirit of the Embassy Suites brand, the Inner Harbor location offers guests a fantastic free made-to-order breakfast and complimentary Evening Reception with cocktails and snacks. Did we mention both of the amenities are *free* with a hotel stay?“We are thrilled with the quality and thoughtful design of our renovation, specifically showcasing the spacious suites, comfortable amenities and stunning vies of Baltimore and the Inner Harbor,” said Andrew Labetti, General Manager of the Embassy Suites Baltimore Inner Harbor. “These improvements have redefined the hotel into a fresh, stylish space and we are confident this renovation will enhance our guests’ experience. Guests will be truly wowed by the transformation. We look forward to welcoming our loyal guests back, and to starting relationships with newcomers to Baltimore”.

Ideally located in downtown Baltimore’s business district, the hotel is just minutes from the best the city has to offer, including the famous Inner Harbor, National Aquarium and Science Center, and numerous shops, restaurants and museums. The hotel is located just 10 miles from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.

Embassy Suites Baltimore Inner Harbor connects to iconic event venue, The Grand. One of the largest and most iconic facilities in Maryland, The Grand offers 45,000 square feet of flexible space for social functions, weddings and group meetings. The hotel’s convenient connection (literally) to The Grand makes it easy for guests to quickly return to their room if need be – say, if the best man accidentally left the wedding ring in the hotel room!

Dallas-based Aimbridge Hospitality, the nation’s largest independent hotel management firm, manages the hotel. For more information or to make a reservation, visit Embassy Suites by Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor website.
