Music is liberating, and promoting music festivals is nirvana – Chris Yangello

There is nothing quite like music for breaking down barriers and bringing people together. The beat, rhythm, and melody of sound speaks a universal language we all share. That’s why Chris Yangello is such a firm advocate of the liberating and healing power of music festivals.

For being so young, the 17-year-old music promoter boasts an impressive CV. He’s a big voice in the world of digital marketing, event production, and social influence, and although he has yet to graduate from high school he’s already worked with many large-scale artists and helped create visual content for them.

Try some of these names for size – Kendrick Lamar Travis Scott, Juice WRLD, DaBaby, Trippie Redd, 6lack, Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj, Lil Skies, Zedd, Kygo, Gunna, J.I.D, Jake Miller, LovelyTheBand, MAX Music, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Whereas most youngsters are listening to these artists and attending the festivals they perform at, Yangello is working alongside them and helping to promote and document the events which the fans flock to.

He’s attended, promoted, and created content for such large-scale festivals as Made in America 2018, Dreamville Festival, Firefly Music Festival, Rolling Loud Miami 2019, and Coachella 2019, to name a few.

At an age when many are dreaming about what they’d like to do when they’re older, Yangello is already living the dream.

His solid follower base on Instagram of more than 130,000 followers is a testimony to the work he has put in to establish himself as someone who warrants attention.

The ambitious teenager, born and bred in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, has made his mark by thinking outside of the box and continually innovating to bring a fresh perspective to content creation. Both artists and fans relate well to the rising star.

Yangello is a natural with the camera in his hand. Recording the unusual, the captivating, and the striking has been a way of life since he was a fresh-faced 14year-old. His instinctive love of music saw him combine his talents and he was previously signed to Sony Music Entertainment’s REDMusic Label (now called “The Orchard”).

Not one to rest on his laurels, Yangello launched Forever* – a live-event production and digital marketing company that creates and produces concerts.

Of course, Yangello’s preferred pastime is to hang out and soak up the vibes at the one place where music is celebrated above anything else – global music festivals.

It’s his natural passion for these events that makes him so effective at promoting and documenting them.

Yangello is the first to admit it’s his love of hip-hop and the music scene as a whole which has fueled his passion to be the best he can be at what he does. He’s not one to blow his own trumpet or bang his own drum but he has achieved a hell of a lot for a music-obsessed teenager.

Yet for all his accomplishments, Yangello remains modest about his career to date and simply said, “There’s no career as versatile competitive and enjoyable as being involved in the music industry. Working with and meeting new artists, content creators, and event production teams is an absolute blessing. Music has been my liberation.”
