EV trucks versus small gas cars: Same harm to the planet
EVs do not pay road taxes, another area that must be addressed. The free ride must end because all of us that don’t have EVs are paying for the roads EVs ride on. The electricity used by EVs must be taxed to pay for the roads so add that in as a future expense. People that can afford Teslas should be paying road taxes now.

Let Lamar Jackson Walk
Lamar Jackson is not an elite quarterback. He is a great runner but he has observably lost a step as he added muscle. His passing has not improved over the years. He does not have a golden arm and never will. Currently, Lamar’s passer rating places him 18th out of 35 NFL quarterbacks. Average, at best.

Marilyn Mosby did not lose the Election because of Racism
Recently, a local media outlet published an editorial claiming that Marilyn Mosby lost the primary election due to racism. Claiming Mosby lost due to her skin color undermines the democratic process and more importantly, it discounts the voters of Baltimore, most of whom are Black. The fact that a Black man, Ivan Bates, won the three-way primary further discredits the idea that race was a factor.
