Why Donald Trump is not fit to be President
For over a year Donald Trump has showed us that he lacks the dignity, compassion and the civility to be President of the United States.
He singlehandedly just about offended everybody including his own political party.
He has shown us that he is not a team player, its Trump’s way or the highway.
That way of thinking is not even justified in private industry. The old saying that there is no “I” in team stands true.
In short Trump has become the joke of American politics.
His biggest joke was on June 16, 2015 when he stated “I am officially running for President of the United States.”
Neither Donald Trump nor Hillary Clinton have the honor, the character or the integrity to lead the country, yet one of the two will end up being President; God help America!
The only redeeming qualities that Clinton and Trump have is that they are both Americans.
Americans are tired of the same old politicians in Washington, the corruption, the lies, the rich and powerful making decisions for the working man and woman and it makes no difference if they are Democrats or Republicans, both parties have made a successful mess out of running this country for decades.
Politicians take an oath when being sworn in, and then lie, cheat and steal their way through their terms, usually doing what is best for themselves and not the people that elected them.
I can only hope that somewhere in the bowels of our political system there are some honest politicians who can fight to keep what this country stands for regardless of whichever fool gets elected this year.
So when Donald Trump entered the race I like many other Americans thought that maybe a successful businessman who had never been in politics could possibly bring a breath of fresh air, new ideas and a new team to Washington, after all running a country is like running a business.
But then Trump almost immediately showed us what a jackass he was.
From the start he headed down a path of self-destruction, the likes of which I have not seen in my lifetime.
That may be fine if it was only about himself, however running for President is not about you alone. It’s loyalty to your political party and bringing all people together, not alienating certain groups of Americans because you dislike them.
Trump has shown us that his actions have caused a meltdown of not only himself but the Republican Party as well.
Hillary Clinton is no prize either, her dishonesty and corruption over the past twenty years should have made her easily beatable by the Republican candidate; that is if Donald Trump did not win the Republican nomination, a lesson that may very will hit the Republican Party smack in the face come Election Day.
One could probably forgive Donald Trump for some of the stupid and disgusting remarks he has made over the years about women.
After all Trump was a private citizen, a celebrity, not a politician and truth is no matter what the “saintly” news media wants us to believe, unless we are are hypocrites, we all, male and female at some time or another have probably made similar comments while engaging in small talk to each other.
That being said not everything Trump has said over the years about women can be justified, at least not by me.
When you take a closer look at what he has said about women throughout the years, the totality of all his comments, there appears to be an underlying problem with Donald Trump and his respect for women.
Someone said that should be expected of him since he is in the casino business.
The only problem with that is that he is running for President of the United States and as such should be the role model for what America stands for, decency and dignity for others, which by Trump’s past and present words he showed us that he has neither decency nor dignity.
When Trump spoke about kissing women without their consent, putting his hands on their private body parts and thinking that he could do that with impunity just because he is a celebrity, well I have one thing to say to Donald Trump; Robert DeNiro was correct when he called you a pig.
Let’s be honest here, if Donald Trump has in fact done exactly what he said he has done, in his own words have you, then the women who were on the receiving end of his sexual assaults are victims and Trump is not only a pervert but a criminal as well.
What makes it worse is that he said he could do that to women and get away with it because of his status as a celebrity. Sounds like shades of Bill Cosby and other celebrities who think they are above the law because of who they are.
While I am on this subject I have to say something about the Fox News Channels’ show, Outnumbered.
This past Monday, Bill O’Reilly was the guest on Outnumbered.
What was appalling was that the four female hosts on the show were discussing with O’Reilly the reported sexual comments made by Trump.
Did they have him on the show because O’Reilly may be an expert on sexual harassment and the abuse of women?
Bill O’Reilly is the biggest pig and documented liar in the cable news industry, or should I say the propaganda industry.
Yes, journalism is dead in this country, it sold out to the whims of the corporations who own the media. We have replaced the news with entertainment and the biggest reality show to hit the airwaves since the invention of television.
How could these four females on Outnumbered honestly look at O’Reilly with a straight face knowing the past allegations made against him that are documented in court papers?
In 2004 Andrea Mackris, who worked as a producer on The O’Reilly Factor filed a sexual harassment suit against her boss, Bill O’Reilly, who at the time said it was all lies and called it a shakedown for money, and said he would fight to the end with no settlement.
O’Reilly had one big problem though. Among Andrea Mackris’ basis for the sexual harassment lawsuit, there were, allegedly, recorded sexually explicit telephone calls with O’Reilly talking to her about masturbation, vibrators, group sex and other sexual fantasies. After rumors that Mackris recorded his phone calls, less than two weeks after the filing of the lawsuit, O’Reilly who had said he would never settle, settled the case with Mackris. It was rumored that he paid Mackris close to $10 million, to get the tapes and shut her up.
Donald Trump believed he could assault women because he was a celebrity.
Sounds very similar to what Bill O’Reilly allegedly told Andrea Mackris, as documented in court papers.
When Mackris told O’Reilly that he had done the same thing to other women who worked on The O’Reilly Factor, he responded: “If any woman ever breathed a word I’ll make her pay so dearly that she’ll wish she’d never been born. I’ll take her through the mud, bring up things in her life and make her so miserable that she’ll be destroyed. And besides, she wouldn’t be able to afford the lawyers I can or endure it financially as long as I can. And nobody would believe her, it’d be her word against mine and who are they going to believe. Me or some unstable woman making outrageous accusations. Besides, I’d never make the mistake of picking unstable crazy girls like that.”
Ten years later, in recorded testimony given in 2014 in the custody trial between O’Reilly and his ex-wife, the ex-couples daughter told a court-appointed forensic examiner that she witnessed O’Reilly “choking her mom as he dragged her down some stairs” by the neck.
O’Reilly said at the time all the allegations against him were lies and refused to comment any further. Was O’Reilly calling his daughter a liar or was it the same tactic he had told Andrea Mackris he would use against any woman who would accuse him. Custody of his children went to his ex-wife.
So when I saw Bill O’Reilly on Outnumbered discussing Donald Trump I saw the hypocrisy of not only O’Reilly but the news media as well.
Donald Trump by his own words has opened himself up to all the scrutiny he has been receiving and justifiably so. He is running for the highest office in the land and it goes to his character and integrity, just as the scrutiny Hillary Clinton is receiving questioning her character and integrity.
Let’s face it, Bill Clinton is a pig and yes his past history is fair game because he is campaigning for his wife, so that makes both of the Clintons target for whatever gets thrown at them. So when Trump talks about what happened twenty years ago with the Clinton’s he also opened the door for all his past remarks that he has made over the years also. What is good for one is also good for the other.
America, how the hell did we end up with these two fools and the political mess we are in? Shame on us.
Could we not have found two honorable, decent candidates for either parties, male or female who could have professionally debated on the issues facing this country?
Instead we have the worst, most disgraceful campaign by both candidates that we have ever seen. America has brought its Presidential campaign right into the gutter. No that’s not even a fair statement, not the gutter, it’s in the sewer.
When you take a look at all of Donald Trump’s other remarks over the years about women and his own daughter, Ivanka, for that matter, one would be right in asking if this man should be running for President of the United States. His words are not just bizarre but disturbing as well.
On March 6, 2006 on an episode of The View Donald Trump stated as his daughter was sitting next to him, “If Ivanka wasn’t my daughter I would perhaps be dating her.”
In 2004 on the Howard Stern show Stern referred to Ivanka Trump as a “piece of ass” to which Trump replied, “Yeah.” What kind of father what let another man call his daughter a piece of ass, without standing up for her honor?
I guess he thought that his daughter was just another piece of ass, just like he describes other women.
In a 1991 Esquire interview Trump was quoted as saying, “You know it doesn’t really matter what [the media] write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass.”
On the Wendy Williams show when Williams asked Donald Trump what he had in common with his daughter, Ivanka, who was sitting next to him, Trump responded, “I was going to say sex but I can’t relate that to her.”
My question to Donald Trump would be why would you even think about saying you had sex in common with your daughter.
Does he even have any respect at all for his own daughter?
Apparently not!
Donald Trump lost my support almost immediately after announcing his candidacy.
As an Army Veteran, I took offense to what he said about Senator John McCain. What was especially distasteful was that Trump was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and never served one day in the United States military, yet he had the nerve to say that John McCain was not a hero.
Anyone who wears the uniform of the American military is a hero. Those who were prisoners of war move to the top of the list. What John McCain and others endured at the Hanoi Hilton was pure horror.
It’s not only Trump’s degrading and insulting remarks about women that is disturbing. He added fuel to the fire of racism by insulting about blacks, Muslims, Mexicans and the list goes on and on.
Trump threatens the media when they are critical of him, without realizing that freedom of the press is just as much a right as his right of freedom of speech with his inflammatory remarks.
His answer to the war on Islamic terrorism was to deport a whole race of people based solely on their religion.
Didn’t Adolf Hitler do the same thing with the Jews?
Hillary Clinton’s emails is a story that keeps on giving. Each day brings more revelations about dishonesty and corruption.
Donald Trump is no different. Each day brings another female accuser describing allegedly more acts of groping and predatory misconduct by Donald Trump over the years.
Just like Hillary Clinton’s emails, this is Donald Trump’s story that keeps on giving and rest assured where there is smoke there is fire on this one.
Just today I read about Donald Trump Jr.’s remarks on a radio show back in 2013 where he insinuated that women in the workplace who can’t take sexual harassment should go and teach kindergarten.
Wow, talk about the apple not falling far from the tree. Like father, like son. Rich pompous jackasses.
On May 7, 2013 Donald Trump sent out a tweet; “26,000 unreported sexual assaults in the military-only 238 convictions. What did these geniuses expect when they put men and women together?”
So by Donald Trump and his son’s standard women who work with men should count on being sexually harassed and should be able to take it. And this guy wants to be the leader of the free world!
There are plenty of firsts with Donald Trump during this campaign. Things we have seen and heard that at least I for one have never seen in a presidential campaign. As an American I am not only ashamed but embarrassed as well to see how low this has gotten.
One of the worst was to see Donald Trump mock a handicapped reporter on national television. How disgusting was that. Doesn’t he realize the struggle that handicap people go through on a daily basis?
What about parents of children with handicaps who also struggle day after day to care for their children.
And this from a man who wants to lead this country!
Donald Trump believes that women who are overweight or have small breasts aren’t attractive. That you have to have a young and beautiful piece of ass using his own words.
Well let me tell you something Mr. Trump. It’s what inside a person’s heart that counts. That’s what makes any woman attractive.
As for what’s inside your heart, I wouldn’t even dare to go there.
Lastly. Donald Trump’s advisor and friend, big-mouth Rudolph Giuliani.
Giuliani has said that Hillary Clinton has bad judgment, is stupid and a liar. It takes one to know one I guess.
Stupid, bad judgment and a liar.
This from a man who stated he spent more time at ground zero than the rescue workers which was proven to be untrue.
The man who stated that “Under those eight years, before Obama came along, we didn’t have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attack in the United States.” What happened to 9/11? Didn’t that happen on George Bush’s watch?
As for bad judgment. Giuliani appointed his friend Bernard Kerik police commissioner. The only police commissioner in the history of the NYPD to be convicted and sent to federal prison.
The man who was criticized for his decision to locate the Office of Emergency Management headquarters on the 23rd floor inside the 7 World Trade Center building, this even after the previous terrorist attack against the World Trade Center in 1993.
Giuliani blamed his Director of Emergency Management, Jerome Hauer for selecting that location but was proven to be a liar when Chris Wallace confronted him with a memo written by Hauer that indicated Hauer recommended a location in Brooklyn which Giuliani overrode.
And let us not forget about the radios in use by the NYFD that were proven to be ineffective and were not working when NYFD chiefs ordered the 343 firefighters inside the towers to evacuate, and they remained in the towers as the towers collapsed.
So when Giuliani called Hillary Clinton stupid, a liar and that she has bad judgment, I guess if anyone should know it would be Rudolph Giuliani.
Earlier this year, former President George W. Bush told a group of former aides and advisors that he was worried he could be the “last Republican president.”
That will remain to be seen.
God bless America.
And after Election Day no matter which one of these fools gets elected, God help America!
