‘Peaceful Protest’ Video that Rep. Jim Jordan Tried to Introduce at the Attorney General William Barr’s Hearing but Democrats Blocked Airing the Entire Video

Rep. Jim Jordan (Ohio), the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee tried to show this video during the hearing involving Attorney General William Barr but he was blocked from airing the entire video.

The Democrats said Jordan took the peaceful protests out of context. Democrats have argued most of the protests have been peaceful and blamed President Donald Trump for escalating the situation when he ordered federal troops into cities.

Trump has threatened to bring troops into Baltimore where crime has been under control but protests have been for the most part peaceful.

Baltimore Post-Examiner is run by a creative cadre of dedicated journalists – some who worked at the Washington Post, Baltimore Examiner and other regional and national publications. It’s the Post-Examiner because we love the play on the word “Post” but we are also hoping to answer that question: What’s next after newspapers? We see a lot of websites come and go – and many simply are not making it for various reasons. Now celebrating our eighth year of offering our readers "a little bit of everything" we continue to break that cycle. Contact the author.
