Maryland reader praises editorials on voting no on Question 7

To the Editors:

Thank you for publishing the editorials by Kevin McGhee and Mayor Jacqueline Goodall in favor of voting no on Question 7; I entirely agree with them. I was particularly moved by the Rev. McGhee’s description of funerals of those lost to gambling-related suicides. The bottom line is that gambling is a regressive tax, and I am in favor of raising progressive taxes to pay for better schools.
