The stigma of using cannabis has changed a lot. Not so long ago, the image of someone who chose to indulge usually involved them sitting mindlessly on their couch surrounded by snacks. They had no motivation unless it involved funding more food to curb the munchies. Now, the idea of what someone who uses cannabis looks like is a lot different. In addition, what they actually accomplish in daily life has also changed. In fact, some of the most successful entrepreneurs smoke in their free time and still build lucrative businesses. However, even with so much positive change around this topic, there are those who think using cannabis means never being productive. Here are a few ways to use cannabis and still be motivated.

Everything in Moderation

Just like overeating or drinking one too many cocktails, you need to moderate your usage. To keep motivation at an all-time high, limit the quantity you use during the day, if at all. You might be better off making it an after-work activity. If you’re more of a wake-and-bake person, test the waters to see how much makes you want to curl up in the fetal position for a long winter’s nap. It’s probably best to test this out on the weekend or a day when you’re off work. With a little trial and error, you can find the right quantity that allows you to feel good and still achieve your goals and handle your responsibilities.

Stay Active

As tempting as it is to light up and relax at home, you also need to stay active. Plenty of people have active, productive lives and still smoke or consume marijuana. Make sure you’re getting at least 150 minutes of cardiovascular activity a week, in addition to at least 10,000 steps a day. In addition, you also need to stay connected to your friends and family. At least once a week, get together outside your home and do something that involves physical activity. It can be anything you like, just make sure it doesn’t involve lighting up.

When the time is right, you can also experiment with new ways to unwind. Vaporizers are now tailored to suit every person and situation, so if you’re not sure which is best, you can review an online guide. These guides are pretty comprehensive in breaking down how vaporizers work and the type of dry herbs you can use. There are a lot more that you can try that create a feeling of calm and relaxation.

Be Realistic

In a perfect world, we can do all the things we love for entertainment and still be productive. And while this is a reality for a lot of people, others might need to decrease how much marijuana they use. If you find yourself skipping social functions or not performing as well as you should at work, you need to be realistic with yourself. If you lose motivation after you smoke, you might want to stop for a while and see how you feel. If you are observing this in a loved one learn how to know when someone is struggling with depression and anxiety so you can understand if you need to intervene or not.

I’m currently smoking about 15 sticks a day. I’ve read tons of tips, advice, and how-to’s online, but non of them seem to work for me. How did you, personally, manage to quit? I would love useful insights and read some tales of inspiration!
