Fred Bennett Jr opened Seattle Gold Grills in 2016 and it has become a worldwide known brand. The business owner and founder specialize in luxury jewelry, as well as Grills that can come in gold or silver, as well as have a diamond-encrusted. Fred has gained knowledge and was taught everything that he needed to know from his father; who was the first-ever black jewelry store owner to customize jewelry in Seattle, Washington.

Fred has had knowledge about grills since 1998 and to this day he has released a mobile app that has custom jewelry that can be ordered by both iOS and Android users, globally. His brand has over 300,000 followers on social media that trust him and adores his products.

While Grillz are instantly connected to the hip hop fashion culture that’s iconic, they can still be worn and loved by everyone around the world. Grillz are known to make your fashion choice bold and unique, plus they are known to be a symbol of status.

Fred also provides the service of sending out mold kits for grills and mobile technicians too. Here he provides 5 tips on how to buy and look after Grillz.

Custom-Fitted Grillz

Fred explains, “Even though Grillz are known to be an iconic fashion statement of jewelry-studded teeth, there’s more to that. What sets customized Grillz apart are having custom fitted Grillz that you create with the mold, which then attaches to the gums that fit the false designed teeth over the real teeth. When you order a custom-fitted Grillz, it’ll take longer than usual to arrive; since there is a lot of work that needs to be put in. You’d have to receive or get your mold kit first, which you’d have to leave the impressions of your teeth and gums on the kit and then repackage everything and ship it back to the designer.”

Premade Grillz

Fred states, “When it comes to premade Grillz it is designed so that it can fit a universal audience. That means, whoever orders premade Grillz will get the same set with a universal fit. Premade Grillz can arrive quickly since there is no extra work needed to make them customized.”

Different styles

Fred explains, “Many people assume that Grillz comes in just a gold set. But there are so many styles and cuts to choose from. For example, the Diamond cut is not actually a pair of Grillz that are made of diamonds; but it comes in silver or gold and the shape is inspired by diamonds. With the professional finishing touch that you get from these kinds of Grillz, they will shine like diamonds once you reflect some light on them. There are actually so many different types of Grillz out there, which is why it’s always best to speak to a designer first because you hastily make your decision.”

Keep them clean

Fred says, “Just like keeping your regular teeth clean, you’ve got to keep your shiny Grillz clean too. In order to prevent yourself from getting any bacteria, you need to remove the Grillz from your mouth and wash them lightly under warm water. You’d need a soft-bristled toothbrush to clean your Grillz with, in order to remove any foreign objects and all bacteria from it. Another great method of cleaning your Grillz is by letting it soak in a glass of hydrogen peroxide for 3 to 5 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. You cannot wear your Grillz right away after you have cleaned it, but you need to dry it with a cloth and let them rest.”

Make a routine out of it

Fred advises, “Just like you would want to keep your home clean at all times, you’d also want to keep your mouth clean at all times. By not having a cleaning routine for your Grillz can eventually cause damage and build up bacteria. You need to maintain the quality of your Grillz by treating them with extra care. After all, even though they are a symbolic fashion statement, they have to look as good as new with extra care and cleaning.”
