Christkindlmarkt offers Christmas spirit in the German Tradition

Baltimore, Maryland, November 2016–Zion Church of the City of Baltimore and the Baltimore Kickers announce its 19th annual Christkindlmarkt to be held Saturday, November 26 from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 27 from 11:00 a.m-4:00 p.m. The festive event takes place at Zion Church at 400 East Lexington Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21202 — just across from City Hall.

The Christkindlmarkt is reminiscent of Christmas markets prevalent in Germany during the Advent season. Traditional German food and “Gluehwein” (mulled wine) will be for sale, and the market also features a German Christmas store selling Lebkuchen, Stollen, Marzipan and other German holiday delicacies. Other attractions include vendors selling gift items, a train garden, presentations of holiday music and tours of the historic church building.

Price: Adults: $2.00 / Children under 12: Free.
