Innsbruck, Austria bars offer snuggly warm blankets

The travel time between Obertraun, Austria, and Murren, Switzerland was too long to do in a single day, so I decided to split the trip in half with a stop in Innsbruck, Austria. I hadn’t heard much about the place, but it was pretty much the only city midway between our two destinations. I wasn’t really looking forward to it and only booked one night there, but it turned out to be a lovely and inexpensive town with a ton of things to do and see. Got a 5-star luxury hotel for $120/night (Grand Hotel Europa) and $.25 cans of decent beer! honestly think I could spend a full week there in the future.

One of the more unique things in Innsbruck are all of the outdoor cafes/bars. I’m not even sure these places have indoor seating. Since the weather was slightly chilly, they put soft blankets on the chairs for people to use to keep warm while eating and drinking!
