How Daniel Oporto became a brand and what he stands for

Luxurious fashion designer has come a long way to reach the peak of his success and is still aiming to climb up even further. He has gained nationwide positive attention in many different countries and was named one of the top 5 fashion designers in South America.

However, his love for fashion didn’t start at a young age. When he was younger, he was constantly living in between Bolivia and America, until he turned 14 years old and moved to Washington DC. At first, he studied film and television at Universal studios and even took up acting at the playhouse theatre in New York.

He sticks to his roots

He is Bolivian and Portuguese and still stays true to his roots with his huge, kind, work in philanthropy through the Daniel Oporto Foundation. He strongly cares  about the poverty in Bolivia and has been donating to jails all over south america for the past 10 years; for they have a shortage of resources such as milk, to feed children who grow up in jail with their parents. He also has other charity projects in the works, especially to help animals.

The Daniel Oporto Foundation was created in order to help people in poverty and lift them up psychologically and spiritually. He has had the help of the famous South American actress Carla Ortiz, who is also passionate in donating and helping children, especially those who are growing up in prisons. 

For the love of fashion

He found his love for fashion when he visited Italy for the fashion week. After gaining experience as a personal stylist for many celebrities such as Mark Wahlberg, Placido Domingo and Vittorio Griggolo. He also was a personal stylist for many tv series such as entourage, as well as movies and participated in wardrobe design for Placido Domingo’s concerts.

During his time in New York, Daniel participated in Fashion shows, fashion weeks, and worked with very well known photographers, such as David La Chapelle and Mario Testino. After his grafting and all the experience he gained, his passion for fashion grew and motivated him to start up the luxurious clothing brand Oporto Culture.

In 2006 he mastered the style of elegance, which lured major celebrities to shop from his brand and even have him design outfits for the Oscar awards. Oporto Culture stood out for its bold yet classy perspective of fashion and has made Daniel a fashion guru across the world. His brand was highly supported by Paris Hilton, Leonardo Dicaprio, and Vittorio Grigolo. It wasn’t just celebrities that wanted his designs at the time; he also became popular with many well-known doctors and lawyers.

So what is Daniel Oporto up to now? Well, he’s moved to Dubai, in order to expand his clothing line out there, which has influenced the perspective of fashion out there. In fact, Daniel has now become a luxurious brand ambassador for numerous well-known brands such as Palazzo Versace Dubai, Chopard watches, Overdrive watches, Yasmine Palace, Lamborghini, Maserati, Rolls Royce and Ferrari. He has also been spotted in the biggest fashion shows in Qatar and Hong Kong.

But it doesn’t stop there for Daniel. He will also be attending many fashion shows like International Fashion Week in Dubai which will take place in October, as well as Milan fashion week, once it takes place. He is usually seen in the front row, sitting alongside some A-lister friends, looking for inspiration for his next fashion line.

Daniel has just released the summer 2020 collection on his website, which features beautifully tailor-made suits in many different patterns and colors such as dogtooth, floral, and pinstripes, as well as plain colored suits such as plum purple. They are designed for any future glamorous event that you would be attending and will make you look sharp.

When Daniel is not focusing on his career in fashion, he sticks to his fitness and is an athlete. He was actually a vegetarian for 20 years and he cares strongly about making the world a better place. Daniel also has an eye for photography, which is why he is so active on Instagram, with some of the coolest photos you will ever see. He studied photography at Brooks Institute at Santa Barbara. When it comes to role models, he strongly respects and looks up to people who are strong, kind, noble and brave.He also respects and admires Johnny Depp and Gwyneth Paltrow, for they are strong characters that stand for their beliefs.

Daniel is currently in Dubai, due to the coronavirus putting everything on halt, however, once things will get back to normal he will continue to travel around the world in order to share his love for fashion with people alike. He hasn’t stopped donating to those in need and is hoping to expand his foundation in order to help others in need, such as animals.
