God’s Protection Plan

Hello friends. Today’s timely message is called, “God’s Protection Plan!”

The Lord God Almighty has given his people a personal plan of protection for troublesome times. This plan is specifically laid out by the writer of Psalm 91. This passages begins:

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Many scholars have attributed its authorship to Moses. We are not exactly sure, but whoever wrote this inspiring Psalm, definitely has given us an increase of security in these last days.

First of all, I would like to draw your attention to whom this Psalm includes — and yes — excludes.

The very first words of verse one explicitly say, “HE THAT DWELLETH…”

The writer tells us that you must dwell – or be totally connected – with the Lord God Almighty, in order to be a beneficiary of the plan of protection. In order to be connected, the Psalmist says that you must affirm that God is your refuge, your fortress, your God, your trust, your deliverer, your confidence, your shield, your buckler, and your habitation.

When — and only when — you truly do that, you now have access to the following blessings that are in store for you as a follower of Almighty God.

Here is what you can expect to receive:

you shall be delivered from snares,
you shall be delivered from pestilences,
you shall be covered with his feathers,
his truth shall be your personal shield and buckler,
you shall not be afraid of night terrors or arrows that fly during the day,
1,000 of your enemies will fall at your left and 10,000 at your right and they shall not even come close to you,
you will see God judging the wicked,
there shall no evil befall thee, nor any plague come your way,
God will send his Angels to protect you,
you will be protected against wild animals

And finally:

The Lord God Almighty will set you on a high place because you have known His name!

Folks, I don’t know about you, but it’s worth knowing and trusting in the God of the Bible, Amen!

The last and final condition to seal the deal of inheriting all those promises, is to know the name of the God of the Holy Bible.

The very first book of the Bible reveals the true identity of God. Genesis 1:1 says, “IN THE BEGINNING GOD…”

The Hebrew word that is used for the name of God is ELOHIM, which is a plural word. Here we see the very first confirmation of the divine trinity of God.

So, who is this creator God?

May I have the awesome privilege to introduce to you the exact same God of the old and the new covenants. His name is Yeshua or Immanuel.

We know him as Jesus the Messiah, who is the King of Kings and the Lord of all Lords.

Psalm 91 concludes that, if you know him, you can call upon his name, and he will be with you. He will deliver you in troublesome times, and he said that he will bestow honor upon you.

If you want God’s personal plan of protection, and you want to claim all of those promises that are contained in this wonderful Psalm, you simply – with childlike faith – need to humble yourself, ask for God’s mercy to be applied to your heart, your mind and your soul; and let the shed blood of Yeshua the Christ cleanse you and keep you in his hands.

Blessings to each and every one of you.
