Calling Me
I’m talking to you, You’re talking to me
And though I don’t deserve it, You set me free
With a gentle grace abounding
Open heart resounding
Calling me
I look at my life, I look at my dreams
I look at Your loving ways, though sometimes it seems
That I miss the boat completely
When I miss You sweetly calling me
I could blame it on the world as the busyness unfurls
Another day goes passing by
I could make a reckless choice, disregard Your voice
And walk away
Yet, even as I’ve turned, through many years I’ve learned
Your perfect love still covers me
As I fall back in Your arms, the foolish worldly charms just fade away
I’m talking to you, You’re talking to me
And though I don’t deserve it, You set me free
With a gentle grace abounding
Open heart resounding
Calling me
