Taking a stand for peace at McKeldin Square
Just about every Friday, the “Women in Black,” show-up to demonstrate at McKeldin Square at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. April 4th was no different. I got a chance to talk with Betsy G. Cunningham, who is a veteran activist with that peace group. To learn more about her organization, click here. Also supporting the “Women in Black,” was social justice activist Ian Schlakman. I briefly chatted with him. Schlakman was on the scene to also help launch #WaveofAction Baltimore. This is a spin-off of the Occupy Baltimore Movement. To find out more about that effort, click here.
