Social activist Cortly C.D. Witherspoon Sr. installed as assistant pastor at Faith Church Baltimore
The Rev. Cortly “C.D.” Witherspoon, Sr. was installed as a new Elder and Assistant Pastor at Faith Church Baltimore. The church is located in Remington, at 301 West 28th Street. Bishop Matthew E. Bradby II presided over the ceremony. Rev. Witherspoon is well-known in Baltimore as a social justice activist. He also serves as the president of the Baltimore chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. The Conference can trace its national founding to the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.
