Can I Wish It for You?
Can I wish it for you
The life you wanted
Could I be there too?
And not where I am
We search in our complacency
To see when we gave up
Sifting through what might be the proof
Can I give it to you
The dream you wanted
Would you see it through
If you had the chance to try again
We search in our complacency
To see when we gave up
Sifting through what might be the proof
Seeing things through jaded eyes
As if we never knew
What it’s like to see life anew … hey
Can I give it to you?
Can I wish it for you?
Can I give it to you?
Can I wish it for you?
