A Customized Menu

Khalifa will handpick all items on the menu, which is yet to be released. He describes the vibe as “top-shelf munchies,” incorporating snacks like smokey and sweet BBQ burnt ends and a turkey burger named after the Taylor Gang, mac and cheese, and brownies. The term ‘munchies’ was first coined in reference to the desire to snack during a high. It was used in a 1971 study, which found that marijuana users tended to feel hungrier.

The items on the menu are said to be based on some of Khalifa’s favorite dishes. As of now, there is no word of cannabis being incorporated into any of the items, though many fans are hopeful.

Open for Delivery-Only

Food from Wiz Khalifa HotBox restaurants will only be available for delivery through popular phone apps like UberEats, DoorDash, Postmates, and Grubhub. The COVID-19 pandemic has created a boom in the food delivery industry. The restaurant’s creators are working in collaboration with Nextbite, a Denver-based business that specializes in delivery-based and virtual restaurants.

Wiz Khalifa: A Jack of All Trades

At just over 30 years old, Khalifa has made quite a name for himself. He is not only a famous rapper but an entrepreneur, as well. He started his own strain of marijuana called ‘Khalifa Kush’ in 2017 and started a Weed Farm mobile app, which went on to gain over 4 million downloads.

Additionally, he continues to make music and provide free content for his fans. Some of his top hits have received billions of views on Youtube. “Black and Yellow,” “We Dem Boyz,” and “See You Again” are just a few examples of his most popular pieces.

As a daily marijuana user, it’s no question why the rapper has decided to launch his own stoner themed restaurant in America. His efforts will continue the slow process of normalizing CBD and marijuana use in the states, which is no easy task.

What is CBD alternative, for states not friendly to Hot Boxers?

CBD has quickly become the most popular component of cannabis (marijuana). The acronym stands for ‘cannabidiol,’ which is one of the active ingredients of cannabis. It’s an important part of medical marijuana and comes straight from the hemp plant. CBD is technically an alternative to marijuana; it offers many of the same benefits with none of the negative side effects. For those looking to give it a try, CBD coupons are popping up all over the internet.

Edible versions of CBD and marijuana are far more potent than traditional options. The main ingredient, tetrahydrocannabinol, contributes to the effects that users feel, and using edible versions allows for customized results. Edibles pack a long-lasting, yet extremely safe effect for users. With increasing popularity, the products are becoming available for purchase in many cities across America. As of today, there is no report of anyone overdosing on an edible version of marijuana.

Many are already raving about the opening of the Wiz Khalifa HotBox restaurant concept on social media. For those interested in getting involved, you can find a nearby restaurant on their website (https://hotboxbywiz.com/) or vote for your city.
