Trump’s approval rating is four points higher than that of August, poll says
WASHINGTON- President Donald Trump’s September approval rating is four points higher than August, according to a recent poll.
The Politico/Morning Consult survey said that 43 percent of the respondents approved of the president’s job performance whereas in August only 39 percent said they did.
The survey said that 52 percent of the respondents disapproved of Trump’s job performance. Five percent said they had no opinion.
The sampling included 1,994 registered voters and was a carried out Sep. 14-17. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus two percentage points.
Trump in August faced heavy criticism following his suggestion of moral parity between anti-racist counter-protestors and the white nationalists they confronted at a violent rally in Charlottesville, Va.
