Heather Mizeur outlines policy on Early Childhood Education
Heather Mizeur, a Democratic candidate for Governor of Maryland, outlined Thursday her proposed policies on early childhood education. She highlighted subjects such as: “universalizing and expanding pre-K, improving access to child care, and increasing state funding for after school and summer programs.” Mizeur underscored the need to close Maryland’s “race and income-based achievement gaps.” She added: “We need a different vision.” The press conference took place at the “Downtown Baltimore Child Care” site which is located at 237 Arch Street in Baltimore.
