CODEPINK protests ‘Killer Drones’ at Senate Office Building

Activists from CODEPINK, a Peace & Justice organization, staged a demonstration Wednesday in the Atrium of the U.S. Senate Hart Office Building in Washington, D.C. against the United States decision to use Drones to kill. Thousands have been killed, including innocent children.

CODEPINK said it organized the action to show the growing grass roots opposition to the use of “killer drones and doubts about John Brennan,” Obama’s pick to run the Central Intelligence Agency.

Speaking on camera is Medea Benjamin, cofounder of CODEPINK. There were no arrests at this site. To learn more about CODEPINK, a national organization. As for background on the “Killer Drones,” check out this article in Rolling Stone.  Benjamin is the author of a book on “Killer Drones.”
