Zimmerman verdict to spark protests in Baltimore
Baltimore’s Peoples Power Assembly and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference announced protests in light of the not guilty verdict in the controversial George Zimmerman case. Zimmerman was acquitted on manslaughter charges in the death of 17-year-old Trayyon Martin in Sanford, Florida. Zimmerman fatally shot Martin Feb. 26, 2012.
