Road to Wrestlemania 35 goes through Baltimore

Tuesday Apri 2,l 2019 at 7.45 p.m. World Wrestling Entertainment returns to the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore for the latest TV show, Smackdown, before the most important event of the year, Wrestlemania 35 and we are ready to bet, perhaps in the same style as the college ball betting, that there will be an audience of the big, if not the biggest, occasions.

Currently the WWE has not yet officially announced any match for the show but it is certainly easy to imagine that the event in Baltimore could be the right one to finally establish the match for WM35 between Champion Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston. The feud between the two is certainly one of the most followed in recent weeks, with Kofi really forced to the impossible to win a title shot.

While we are writing this article, Kofi is back from the latest injustice perpetrated against him during the last episode of Smackdown. After winning an incredible Gaunlet Match against opponents of incredible caliber (we are talking about Erik Rowan, Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, Cesaro and Sheamus), Vince McMahon enters the scene and congratulates Kingston and says that he will go to WrestleMania… if he defeats one last opponent, just the champion Daniel Bryan. Shaken by the previous Gaunlet Match, he can’t make the match his own and therefore the formalisation of the match valid for the belt is postponed again and could only really arrive during the Baltimore show.

The show at the Royal Farms Arena will also be an opportunity to refresh the feud for the match between AJ Styles and Randy Orton. The two will compete in Wrestlemania 35 without any belt to win but the technical skills of the two superstars are incredibly high and many insiders and fans believe that the two could give life to the best match of the evening.

Probably something will also happen about the Triple Threat for the RAW Women’s Title between Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and reigning champion Ronda Rousey. Both the daughter of Ric Flairand Becky are in fact part of the roster of the blue show and probably in Baltimore there will be some news about this match that could even be the main event of WM35. Remaining in the women’s field, almost certainly we will also see the current champion of Smackdown, Asuka, in action at the Royal Farms Arena.

We give almost for sure within the event also a new installment of the Kevin Owen Show that every Tuesday delights us with his performances as a commentator outside the box. Who knows if the KO Show will host The Miz and Shane McMahon, the former allies who will be protagonists of another eagerly awaited meeting in Wrestlemania 35.

The Baltimore show could also be an opportunity to announce the last matches of the WM35 card as according to the latest rumors there will be a total of 17 matches that will make Wrestlemania 35 the longest event in the history of the federation based in Stamford. While we are writing this article, there are only nine confirmedmatches and so there is still much to discover and maybe some last surprises will be revealed in our Baltimore on Tuesday, April 2.
