Hard Rock Café offers internationally inspired burgers; drinks
On the eve of National Burger Day, the Hard Rock Café at the Power Plant in Baltimore hosted the World Burger Tour Rock Your Tastebuds cocktail hour. This special tasting showcased the popular chain’s first ever World Burger Tour menu.
Guests for this event had the opportunity to sample an interesting array of cool cocktails along with two of the delicious Hard Rock Legendary burgers and a special selection of internationally inspired sandwiches. The international burgers included the Banh Mi Burger (Vietnam), Sweet & Sour Burger (China), Tandoori Spiced Chicken Burger (India) and the Bosphorous Burger (Turkey). Each of the off-shore selections included flavorful garnishments and spices which chefs would use in their respective regions of the world.
The four globe-trotting treats which our staff sampled are unique to the Baltimore location, so visitors to other venues, such as D.C, San Diego and Los Angeles may expect to be feted with different choices from the intriguing new menu.
As always, the service at Hard Rock was attentive and superb; with a special shout-out to our head waiter – a Marine veteran nicknamed “Piggy.”
The World Burger Tour promotion runs now through September. More information may be found by visiting the Hard Rock Café.
Baltimore Post-Examiner is run by a creative cadre of dedicated journalists – some who worked at the Washington Post, Baltimore Examiner and other regional and national publications. It’s the Post-Examiner because we love the play on the word “Post” but we are also hoping to answer that question: What’s next after newspapers? We see a lot of websites come and go – and many simply are not making it for various reasons. We have been a model of success since we launched in 2012 with “a little bit of everything” and we aim to continue to break that cycle of websites coming and going.
