World Book Night celebrated at Atomic Books in Hampden (Hon)
On Wednesday evening “World Book Night” was celebrated at Atomic Books on the Falls Road in Hampden (Hon). A wide array of literary luminaries took turns at the podium reading from some of the World Book Nights books for 2013.
Benn Ray, when he wasn’t busy tending to the bar, and participating in the readings, served as the moderator of the bookish happening. To learn more about this fun and culturally-relevant event, click here.
Keep in mind in reflecting on this occasion, the wisdom-teaching of our own home-grown philosopher/sage – Mark Twain. The man from Hannibal, Missouri once mused: “Good friends, good books and a sleepy conscience: this is the ‘ideal’ life.”
