Mets spend the 4th with the Dodgers
Over the July 4th Weekend the New York Mets were in town to meet the L.A. Dodgers for a three-game series. The Mets were in second place in the National League East, just three games behind the Washington Nationals (now 3.5).
The Dodgers were leading the National League West, four games ahead of the San Francisco Giants (now 5).
As the Phillies meet the Dodgers for the second game of their series, with rumors about Yasiel Puig swirling around the Dodgers clubhouse again and an effort to get Clayton Kershaw into the All-Star Game, we have my video report on the Mets-Dodgers series.
