May Day in Baltimore: Activists demand fair wages

Under sunny skies, more than 100 activists gathered at McKeldin Square in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor to celebrate “May Day.” After all the speeches at this site, the spirited crowd marched about five blocks east – over to the main post office building on Fayette Street. Organizer Sharon Black, they did that to show their support for the members of the postal workers’ unions, who are currently under attack via privatization.
