Globe Poster Exhibition opens in Baltimore
On Friday morning I chatted briefly with Helen Yuen. She is the marketing director at Creative Alliance. It’s located in Highlandtown, in East Baltimore, near Patterson Park. Yuen talked about the openingof the “Globe Poster Exhibition.” The program, which will include performances, panel presentations, lectures, a movie, workshops, a dance party, and much more, will run though June 15th. The exhibition features the “iconic” posters of Globe Poster Printing Corp, a Baltimore-based company. It also spotlights the “pop culture” of its day, and African-American musicians like the legendary “James Brown to a ‘Tribe Called Quest.’”
