Fun Stuff to do in Baltimore
As the largest city in the state of Maryland, Baltimore not only has a lot of history behind it, there are also many fun things to do while in the area. This has made it the perfect place for tourists to visit, as there’s simply so much to see and do. Therefore, we’ve done our best to pick out some fun stuff to do while in Baltimore.
Play at casinos
Casinos are places where you are almost guaranteed a fun and enjoyable experience every time. And while it is perfectly acceptable to have a great time playing online at RoyalVegas CA and other big sites; there are plenty of exciting land-based casinos in the area, which really should not be ignored. From the Horseshoe Casino through to the Rocky Gap Casino and MGM National Harbor, visitors will be able to game the night away, playing slots, table games and more.
Enjoy a night at the baseball
A sporting event always makes a visit worthwhile, and anyone in Baltimore is in luck in this respect. The Baltimore Orioles, the city’s beloved baseball team, bring Baltimore to life when they’re playing at home. Thousands flock to watch the team at Oriole Park, and while the success hasn’t necessarily been forthcoming for the Orioles for a while, it’s the occasion itself which makes heading to Oriole Park a must do activity.
Check out the animals at Maryland Zoo
Druid Hill Park plays home to Maryland Zoo, which happens to be the third oldest zoo in the whole of America. Maryland Zoo is one of the areas biggest attractions, and for good reasons, as not only is it stocked with the likes of African elephants, cheetahs, lions and more, it’s also well designed and thought out too. Split into multiple sections, the zoo allows visitors to embark on adventures, with the African journey arguably the pick of the bunch.
An epic adventure at the Port Discovery Children’s Museum
Baltimore is a great city for families to enjoy and explore too, and if a family has children, even better. The Port Discovery Children’s Museum is purposely designed for children to enjoy, using exhibits which are both interactive and educational in equal measures. With the museum spread out over three floors and consistently being updated, this is a place that visitors can and will enjoy time and time again, without having to see the same exhibits repeatedly.
Go underwater with the fish at the National Aquarium
The National Aquarium in Baltimore plays host to nearly 200,000 animals, which range from course fish and birds, through to amphibians and reptiles. Underwater life has long been a keen interest of many, and through the immersion tour, visitors will be able to experience underwater life for themselves within the tank. Guests at the National Aquarium will be able to meet dolphins, as well as take a closer look and find out more about sharks too. Life underwater has never been so fun.
