“Fiction at Freddies,” a new reading series, opened Monday at Freddie’s Ale House located at 7209 Harford Road in Baltimore. The readers were author and journalist, Michael Olesker (above); educator, author and co-host of the “New Mercury Readers,” Deborah Rudacille; poet Dan Cuddy; the former “City Paper” staff photographer, Jennifer Bishop; and, finally, Joe Nawrozski, a former reporter and Vietnam War Veteran.

The organizer and host for the program, which is making its debut, was the author, screenwriter and ex-”Baltimore Sun/Baltimore Examiner” columnist – Rafael Alvarez. Go to our friends at “Baltimore Fishbowl,” to get more particulars on the readers and this literary happening.
