Harry Lee Poe

Harry Lee Poe serves as Charles Colson Professor of Faith and Culture at Union University in Jackson, TN. He recently completed two five year terms as president of the Poe Museum in Richmond, VA. In 2009 he was awarded an Edgar by the Mystery Writers of America for his book Edgar Allan Poe: An Illustrated Companion to his Tell-Tale Stories. (Poe is the cousin of my great-great-grandfather William Poe. They carried on a correspondence over many years and my ancestor financed their boarding house in New York in 1837.)
