George Barany is a Distinguished McKnight Professor of Chemistry at the University of Minnesota who was present at Game 5 of the 1969 World Series. Dan Silversmith grew up in northwest Baltimore. He attended Poly. He is a lifelong Orioles’ fan and Memorial Stadium was his second home. He lives in St. Paul, MN with his wife and two children and works as a psychologist in Minneapolis, MN. His heart will always be in Charm City.
