Cliff grew up in the lovely Hudson Valley/Catskill Mountain region of upstate New York. He attended Middletown High School and received a BS in engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. While there, he played collegiate hockey and soccer and was a member of the Rensselaer Society of Engineers Fraternity. He moved from snow bound Syracuse to Fresno, Ca., to be a Product Manager. He and his wife Laura have been in real estate for 35 years. Laura also has published two children’s books: “The Treehouse Treasury” and “Spoiled Pink.” He and Laura also managed an aspiring musician and produced a number of music videos in the Marina Del Rey area. This story is an excerpt from a memoir/ historical fiction novel in progress, “The Rhythm of a Broken Heart.” This book features romance, heartbreak, the Woodstock experience, the tumultuous 60’s-70’s, the exciting New York music scene, the Vietnam war and its veterans and so much more.
