If you want to learn about the FBI’s investigation of the Las Vegas Massacre you will have to pay $3,000 and travel to California

LAS VEGAS — The FBI Las Vegas Division’s Special Agent in Charge Aaron Rouse, will be the opening keynote speaker at the Academy for Venue Safety and Security to be held in March in San Diego, California.
“Rouse will speak on one of the deadliest mass shooting incidents in the United States, the Route 91 Harvest Festival,” according to promotional information for the five-day event.
Mark Herrera, the Director of Education for the International Association of Venue Managers noted, “The lessons learned from Rouse regarding the Route 91 Harvest Festival investigation will help set the tone for the week.”
Agent Rouse, how about setting the tone for the victims, survivors and the families of those who were killed who don’t want to shell out $3,000 to hear you speak about the FBI’s investigation, which by the way, should be a very short speech considering what the American public has been given so far by the FBI concerning the Las Vegas Massacre.
On Tuesday the FBI released its three-page summary of key findings of the Behavioral Analysis Unit’s Las Vegas Review Panel.
Sixteen months after the October 1, 2017 Las Vegas Massacre, the worst mass shooting in American history that left 58 people dead and over 500 wounded by gunfire, the FBI said gunman Stephen Paddock’s motive was unknown.
The report is an embarrassment and a disgrace for the nation’s top law enforcement agency.
Much of what was in that three-page FBI report we already knew from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s final criminal investigative report into the Massacre that was released in August.
The LVMPD report stated Paddock’s motive was unknown, not affiliated with any radical or terrorist group, acted alone, committed suicide, and used his Mandalay Bay Hotel suite as his sniper’s nest.
The LVMPD’s report, which should have been their flagship criminal investigative report since it was the largest homicide investigation in the history of their department, not to mention the worst mass shooting in American history, contained false, misleading and incorrect information as the Baltimore Post-Examiner addressed in several stories last year.
When the LVMPD released its final report in August, the police indicated that many of their conclusions in that report were based on forensic analysis reports done by the FBI, which were never published.
What the FBI has not released are the results of their own investigation which should include all those forensic analysis reports of the evidence that they documented and collected.
Remember, the FBI took possession of all the evidence relating to the Las Vegas Massacre.
What we still do not know, among other things, is whether the bullets that were recovered from the victims, survivors, and the Route 91 Harvest music festival grounds, all matched the firearms that were found in Paddock’s suite.
Nothing like transparency in the FBI.
Haven’t we heard those same comments about Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo, who runs the LVMPD?
So, if the FBI does not release any further reports, and you have some extra pocket cash to spend and want to hear what SAC Aaron Rouse has to say about the FBI’s investigation of the Las Vegas Massacre, I guess you will have to pay $3,000 and travel to San Diego, California on March 10.
During his tenure with the FBI, Rouse has served as Supervisory Special Agent in the Counterintelligence Division at FBIHQ, the senior liaison to the Community Human Intelligence Coordination Center at CIA Headquarters, and Section Chief for the Clandestine Operations Section in the Counterintelligence Division.
On January 21 the Baltimore Post-Examiner published, ‘Judge claims FBI refused information on police corruption probe after pressure from LVMPD.’
That story was based on an interview I conducted with Las Vegas Township Judge Melanie Andress-Tobiasson in the Spring of 2018.
During the interview, she described how she made contact with FBI Special Agent Kevin White of the Las Vegas Division, and who she had been providing information to about human trafficking, underage prostitutes, corrupt LVMPD cops, and murder.
There came a time in 2017 when Tobiassion claims S/A White told her that FBI Las Vegas Division Assistant Special Agent in Charge, Patrick Brodsky, SAC Aaron Rouse’s number two man at the time, ordered him not to take any more information from her. S/A White said Brodsky claimed LVMPD Assistant Sheriff Todd Fasulo, contacted Brodsky and wanted the agent to stop talking to her.
Fasulo denied those claims when contacted by the Baltimore Post-Examiner and Brodsky never returned our call.
Fasulo and Brodsky, now retired, both work as executives in security at Wynn Resorts Las Vegas.
I’m not one to speculate but it does make one ponder.

Doug authored over 135 articles on the October 1, 2017, Las Vegas Massacre, more than any other single journalist in the country. He investigates stories on corruption, law enforcement, and crime. Doug is a US Army Military Police Veteran, former police officer, deputy sheriff, and criminal investigator. Doug spent 20 years in the hotel/casino industry as an investigator and then as Director of Security and Surveillance. He also spent a short time with the US Dept. of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration. In 1986 Doug was awarded Criminal Investigator of the Year by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office in Virginia for his undercover work in narcotics enforcement. In 1991 and 1992 Doug testified in court that a sheriff’s office official and the county prosecutor withheld exculpatory evidence during the 1988 trial of a man accused of the attempted murder of his wife. Doug’s testimony led to a judge’s decision to order the release of the man from prison in 1992 and awarded him a new trial, in which he was later acquitted. As a result of Doug breaking the police “blue wall of silence,” he was fired by the county sheriff. His story was featured on Inside Edition, Current Affair and CBS News’ “Street Stories with Ed Bradley”. In 1992 after losing his job, at the request of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Doug infiltrated a group of men who were plotting the kidnapping of a Dupont fortune heir and his wife. Doug has been a guest on national television and radio programs speaking on the stories he now writes as an investigative journalist. Catch Doug’s Podcast: @dougpoppa1
He’s better of staying home because they didnt learn any lessons, mgmri still operates the same way today as they did then. So if he cant fix their security, then san diego doesnt need his lesson. Hes better off giving them my phone number if they want the truth that can be pointed out logically because they are full if shit on his motivations and timeline. 3 pages my ass, no follow on report on any questions…They better have done more than that in 16 months. An 18 year old could have written that paper.
He should be standing before the families first.
This is so disconcerting.
Its so disheartening that the American people have just accepted this and moved on. Way to go America. Where’s the major media outrage and lawsuits now? They all sold us out including the politicians. This is unacceptable and not what my friends died to protect. This is spitting on their graves and all of the victims, and their families. Angry isnt the word.
