Of course, but the question is, why didn’t the Board of Elections computer pick it up and require that either the Scott or Shea-Scott Slate committee amend its filing?  From where, exactly, did the $200,000 come from?  If it did come from the People for Brandon M. Scott committee, where did the Scott committee get the money to fund that transfer?

Missing the Point – Breaking Up the Base of the Republican Party

Do what they do in Washington state, for example, where everybody runs in a single primary, regardless of party affiliation, and then the top two candidates – even if both survivors are Republicans, Democrats or unaffiliated independents – face off in the general election.  The result of this single primary approach is that the winner is, more than likely, the choice of the majority of people voting.
