Ivy Bookshop ‘Book Talk’ with author Jen Michalski
The Ivy Bookshop on the Falls Road was the scene of a lively literary happening in the finest Bmorean tradition Monday evening, featuring Jen Michalski, the author of “The Tide King,” a new and highly-praised novel.
She read from passages in her book. Then, with Gregg Wilhelm, the genial program host, Michalski talked generally about how she came to write the book, its narrative voice and some of its characters.
Wilhelm is the director of the popular – “CityLit Project.
