Violet Boutique Summer Lookbook Party a smashing success

Last Thursday I Ubered over to Adams Morgan to attended Violet Boutique’s Summer Lookbook party. For those of you who don’t know what Uber is, it is a delightful car service in D.C. If you have not taken a ride yet, I suggest you try it.

However, it has spoiled me.

You can text your location and a driver shows up within minutes. This is essential for me because I am always running a little too fashionably late.

Lookbook and cloths rack in Violet Boutique.

The party was a smash hit. Everyone was trying on all the beautiful clothes at the shop. Violet’s selections are always flattering and affordable. Julie Egermayer, the owner of Violet Boutique and her girls are always so friendly and hospitable so I love stopping in just to say hi.

If you have not been to violet I suggest you check it out immediately. Be sure to look up and see the beautiful images from  the lookbook hanging all around the store. If you are lazy like me remember you can always Uber over there.

There was  great food, drinks and costumes designed and Lookbook cookies. Let me tell you they were scrumptious. This was a beautiful collaboration of so many talents.

Styled by Spicy Candy DC and Photographed by TPWP (please check out their site for the rest of the lookbook images, they are magical and inspirational). I had the pleasure of meeting Lauren Tenney from The W Salon who is responsible for all the models’ flawless hair.

I love this dress!

She is a talented sweetheart and I can’t wait to go to her next time I need a hair cut, which unfortunately for me is about three weeks/months overdue. So you can understand why I was ecstatic to learn that she dose Deva Cuts which is a dry cut specifically for curly hair.

I had such a fun time as always. I loved meeting new people and getting to catch up with my blogger buddies. I have mentioned before CapFABB is responsible for a lot of these collaborations blossoming and I am ever thankful to have become apart of this wonderful community.
