Reception for Anastasia Tantaros’ Photography exhibition

The“Anastasia Tantaros’ Baltimore Series” opened Friday.

It was held at one of the sweetest places in Baltimore, the “Sweet 27 Restaurant,” found at 123 West 27th Street.

The exhibition runs until November 12th.

Tantaros is noted for her “street photography,” but, she is also an accomplished portrait and wedding photographer. Her studio (Side-A-Photograph) is located in the neighborhood of Woodberry close to the Jones Falls. Check here for more details. Some of Tantaros’s street photos decorated the walls of the restaurant/tavern. There was also a photo booth, and a host of photos from past photo booth shoots. I gave the photo booth a try. On one of the walls was a large mural featuring Baltimore icons, including the one and only – John Waters.
