Ian Schlakman announces candidacy for Congress
Social justice activist Ian Schlakman announced Monday his candidacy for the U.S. Congress.
He will be running in the 2nd Congressional District on the Green Party ticket. Schlakman said he wants to bring all the troops home, close the military bases, and to use the money saved on that to pay everyone “a basic income guarantee.”
