Howl-O-Ween Dog Fest – only in Baltimore: Got to love it

Baltimore’s American Can Company, on Boston Street in East Baltimore sponsored “The Howl-O-Ween Dog Fest,” on Saturday, Oct. 27. The howling event  raised money for the The Baltimore Humane Society, a no-kill facilities in Maryland that provides temporary homes and care for unwanted and homeless animals in the region. The registration fees were donated to the Baltimore Humane Society.

Dog owners and their companions competed for prizes in the following categories: Most Original, Most Baltimorean, Matching Dog/Human, and Best Last Minute. Let’s just say the winners were all the dogs who participated.

Participants included: The Baltimore Humane Society, dozens of costumed dogs and their owners, celebrity judges, DJ/on-air personality Jon Boesche’, media sponsor WLIF 101.9 LITE FM, Dogma – Life with Your Pet, Wagging Tail Portraits, Robert Smith Photography, Eastern Animal Hospital, Maryland Pet Gazette, and Maryland Dog Magazine, and more.
