Design

When we were young

We didn’t know to take it slow

But now were older and we’ll take it back

Cause living slow is just dying fast

You told us when the world had fallen behind

The only innocence is in the design

And now I know why you never regret

Where you left me

And all at once my memory saved me

I never once thought you were angry

A subtle hint to a riddled story

I just don’t know why you still want me

Cause you and I know

To take it so slow

Where were going

It’s in our design, it’s in our design

When you wake, will you forget

The waiting bite of what you said

Even though it’s getting deep

I wont let you go

And all at once the patterns had saved me

I never once thought you were angry

A subtle hint to a riddled story

I just don’t know why you still want me

Cause you and I know

To take it so slow

Cause where were going

It’s in our design, it’s in our design
