Craigslist: Baltimore Policemen lost – Please return to FEDERAL HILL

Editor’s Note: Apparently, it’s gotten so bad in Baltimore that one resident decided to take out an ad in Craigslist in search for Baltimore’s lost police force. Instead of laboring on the facts, and since this ad will likely be taken down shortly – we thought we would post it here in our letter section so we can get readers reaction to see if this is really a problem on Federal Hill.

Here is The Craigslist ad in its entirety with the exception of the one F bomb, but you get the picture:

Has anyone seen my policemen? I can’t seem to find them anywhere when I need them. I pay them through my hard earned tax dollars and they are always there to relay a fine so I KNOW they are around, but I’ll be damned if they are around to serve and protect.

Myself and my friends in Federal Hill are being brutally beaten, robbed and raped repeatedly on the E West Street corridor between hours of 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM. Yes, that’s right, I know EXACTLY where they should be when they should be there…. but, they aren’t EVER THERE.

If you’ve seen any of our lost BPD men in blue could you send some my way? If they have a few minutes between speed traps and beating up law-abiding citizens maybe you could send them here – where all the thugs carrying pistols and knives stalk pedestrians walking from Maria D’s area then become prey once they turn on E West Street? I’m pretty sure just one cop on E West and Light Street will do.

As this has been an ongoing problem for around a decade I’ve lost hope of finding my lost cops, but I totally forgot to check craigslist’s lost-and-found. Maybe we can rally enough sense from our public servants to return some policemen here to actually DO THEIR F#$%$#$ JOBS.

Federal Hill resident, victim of armed robbery.
